Pork is the most commonly cooked meat in North-East, India particularly in the Nagaland State. Being a tender meat, pork can be cooked using various cooking methods - frying, boiling, steaming, barbecuing etc. Despite of various cooking techniques used, pork retains its natural tenderness and flavor. Many states in India have their own recipe of cooking this supple meat and I must tell you that they are just as delicious as they look.   In Nagaland, pork is usually cooked with some seasonal vegetables and spices making it an exotic traditional dish. The meat is cut into large chunks and mixed with spices and allowed to cook slowly. The meat when cooked is super delicious when served with steamed rice.
